Hand-Built Stretched Canvases

Each canvas is crafted from leftover wood and fabric scraps from my larger art projects. Instead of letting these materials go to waste, I carefully rebuild them into fresh, one-of-a-kind canvases ready for new creations. Because every piece is made from reclaimed materials, sizes and shapes may vary slightly, giving each canvas its own character. Perfect for artists who love sustainable practices and want a surface with a story.

By purchasing one of these canvases, you’re also invited to join my Facebook group (calypsos cove- art by calypso), where I will be hosting juried art competitions using these reclaimed canvases. All submissions will have the opportunity to showcase their finished work in my gallery, The Mermaid’s Muse. Each show is also organized as a fundraiser for a charity connected to the show’s theme, so every exhibition not only uplifts artists but also supports a greater cause.
